SCALANCE WAM760-1 Access Points and SCALANCE WUM760-1 Client Modules for industrial communication support the latest IEEE 802.11ax standard (Wi-Fi 6). You can use them to implement numerous complex applications with a very high number of clients and increased data rates per client. Optional iFeatures also offer special industrial functions. The Access Points use the latest WLAN standard IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) and offer a high gross data throughput of 1,201 Mbit/s per device, even in challenging industrial environments. Depending on their type, the devices can also be used outside the control cabinet or in harsh environments. IEEE 802.11ax also introduces a new type of WLAN data transmission called OFDMA, with the advantage that multiple users can be served simultaneously, thus allowing data packets to be transmitted more efficiently. The Client Modules support the latest WLAN standard IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), which enables higher data rates per device, even when many WLAN clients are connected. The device is suitable for flexible use in industrial applications. The enclosure and the connectors are resistant to high levels of shock and vibration because all the connectors are screwed. Client Modules with degree of protection IP65 are ideally suited for environments with widely varying temperatures and where protection against dust and water play an important role.
