Description
The SIMATIC RTLS4460T vehicle transponder is connected to a power supply and has an antenna port for concealed installation in the vehicle. A 16-pin plug is available for the connection of sensors (e.g. door contact, motor running) and actuators (e.g. block heater). The transponder features a connection to a CAN Bus of the vehicle and allows further interaction, such as reading out and transmission of the fuel level.
Application
The RTLS4460T vehicle transponder is suitable for applications in fleet management and logistics. Via its input and output options and the optional CAN Bus connection, vehicle data can also be monitored and vehicle functions controlled.
