This handheld reader reads two-dimensional (2D) data matrix codes and one-dimensional (1D) bar codes. It can read medium to high contrast data matrix codes. The cell size should be larger than 0.13 mm. Bar codes can be read if the width of a bar is larger than 0.12 mm. The reader possesses complex image processing functions and illumination technology in order to read codes on many different surfaces.
