In designing the Siemens HB3 generator circuit-breaker, we always had one goal in mind: to make it more sustainable in every way possible. So we adapted its technology, established a responsible supply chain management, and found a way to make up for any emissions that we can’t avoid yet.
With its single-phase encapsulated design, the HB3 fulfills all requirements for its integration between the generator and the generator step-up transformer (GSUT) on the Insulated Phase Bus (IPB). Optionally, the switchgear can be equipped with series main disconnector, earthing switch on generator side and/ or transformer side, instrument transformers, surge arrester(s) and/ or a start-up disconnecting switch.
