Measures hydrogen and noble gases in corrosive gases
The CALOMAT 62 is a thermal conductivity analytical device specially designed for applications in corrosive gases. Concentration of gas components such as Cl2, HCl, and NH3 can be measured directly, along with H2 and N2 in aggressive environments, for example.
This results in a number of possible applications such as in chlor-alkali electrolysis, steel production and processing, LNG facilities, ammonia synthesis, fertilizer production, and in the petrochemical industry.
With integrated interference gas correction
The measuring principle of the CALOMAT 62 is based on the measurement of thermal conductivity, a physical quantity that is different for each gas. The signal is determined by a measuring bridge which consists of two electrical resistances in the sample gas channel and two resistances in the reference cell. Depending on the application, there is a choice between an enclosed gas cell and a flushed reference gas cell. Like the CALOMAT 6, the CALOMAT 62 also features the internal and external correction of influences caused by cross gases. The CALOMAT 62 is available both in a compact 19" housing and in an IP65 field housing with the possibility of purging. Gas-tight separation of the electronics and analyzer part is available.
