The SITRANS LR560 is a plug-and-play, two-wire radar level transmitting unit that is ideal for many types of solid material processes, including ones in high temperatures up to 200 degrees C/392 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a range of 328ft or 100m and continuously monitors solids in silos. Setup for the 78GHz FMCW transmitter is simple thanks to the (optional) graphical LDI interface and quick start wizard, which offers a few parameters for meeting basic operation requirements. The intrinsically-safe handheld programmer is also easy to use as there is no need to open up the lid. Some of the key applications for which the LR560 can be used include cement powder, plastic pellets, plastic power, natural resources, etc. A graphical local display interface is optional.
