The SIEMENS SITRANS TR300 with HART- protocol is easy to set-up with SIMATIC PDM or any handheld communicator. Temperature is gauged by a linear output signal which is 4 to 20 mA, HART. It is widely used on Millivolt sensors, thermocouples, etc. It has a sturdy design with potted electronics and a single or dual point trim. It reduces plant noise, and is installed with an alarm signal if the sensor breaks or if the device gets short-circuited.
