STERIPleat Vent filters use a hydrophobic PTFE membrane for the removal/reduction of bacteria in tank venting and gas filtration applications. These filters can be used with our STERALine filter housing range to provide a compressed gas or atmospheric venting solution. STERIPleat Vent filter cartridges can also be used for sterile gas filtration. Applications - Sterile tank venting Gas filtration – CO2, N2, Air Media grades - S = Standard grade P = Integrity test grade Available lengths - Standard cartridge: 5”, 10”, 20”, 30”, 40” (124/143, 256, 503, 750, 997mm) Junior cartridge: 2”, 5” (64, 122mm) Outer diameter - Standard cartridge: 68.50mm Junior cartridge: 56mm Typical filtration area - Standard cartridge: 0.75m2 per 254mm (10” element) Junior cartridge: 0.25m2 per 122mm (5” element) Materials - Filtration media: Hydrophobic PTFE membrane Support & drainage layer: Polypropylene Core, cage & end fittings: Polypropylene (Optional reinforced PP end caps for sterilisation/sanitisation) Gaskets & O-Rings: Ethylene Propylene , FEP encapsulated, Silicone, Viton, Nitrile, PTFE (DOE only) Max. operating temperature - 60°C (Short term use 80°C ) Sterilisation - Steam or autoclave: 135°C for 30mins (150 cycles) Hot water sanitisation: 90°C for 30mins Material compliance - FDA approved components USP Class VI-121ºC Plastics Test BSE/TSE
