Ceramic beads made of aluminium-silicon oxide SiLibeads® A 99.9 aluminum oxide beads have a very high purity with an Al2O3 content of > 99.9% and with minor secondary components of < 1000 ppm. These beads are suitable for the preparation and wet grinding of high-quality aluminum oxide raw materials for e.g. special technical, electrical and optical components and high-purity coatings made from special suspensions. Very small beads down to 0.2 mm and sizes up to 1.8 mm are available of this type. Fields of application In the mining industry A 99.9 ceramic beads are used for the grinding of minerals and precious metals. Quality attributes The ceramic beads type A 99.9 have a dense sintered structure, a smooth surface, high roundness and high hardness.
