Retardan®-2010 L is a liquid high-performance set retarder for calcium sulphate based bound materials. Very efficient at low dosages Uniform and proven quality Ecologically safe and EC1 plus suitable Usage Retardan®-2010 L provides excellent performance in the adjustment of setting time and workability of calcium sulphate based binders. The product is especially suitable for the following application fields: Fabrication of gypsum boards (plasterboards / wallboards), fibreboards, partition panels, ceiling tiles & gypsum blocks Ready-mix production of floor screeds & self-leveling screeds based on calcium sulphate binders Advantages The benefits of Retardan®-2010 L include, but are not limited to the following: Very efficient set retardation, already at low dosages Allows the setting-time adjustment of the binder slurry to the needs of the manufacturing process Compatible to a variety of calcium sulphate binder types and to other additives, such as Sika® ViscoCrete® superplasticizers Retardan®-2010 L allows the preparation of large mixes and thus reduces the application costs No reduction of final strength of gypsum products (unlike several fruit acids) Uniform quality ensures a stabile manufacturing process run as well as uniformity and homogeneity of the final gypsum product Ecologically unproblematic, free of formaldehyde Packaging IBC of 1’000 kg net Bulk supply on demand.
