SRV SILENCERS
DESCRIPTION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
This type of silencer is based on the combined principle of resonance and absorption of the sound wave. It allows a high attenuation to be obtained in all frequency bands and because of this it is especially recommended for exhaust of vacuum pumps.
Radial inlet takes place in a volume covered by acoustical material with perforated sheet (resonance part) extended by the absorption part.
Outlet piping is axial.
