Pulses delivered independently to eight isolated binary inputs are counted by the SLI-8 multi-counter module. It is 24bit long and can be cleared or read by the operator at any time. The LEDs signaling the occurrence of high states on specific inputs are green and marked IN1-8. Counter incrimination occurs after falling along the edge on a particular input, the states of which change from high to low.
It is important that the pulses fulfill time restrictions. The amount of restriction depends on the settings of the internal digital filter. The communication interfaces with the SLI-8 include RS485 and Modbus RTU. As for the breakdown voltage, all eight inputs are galvanically isolated from the RS485 interface and module supply.
