The Singer model 106-F-Type 4 and 206-F-Type 4 modulating float valves maintains a relatively constant level and has an automatic compensation for level draw-down. It has regular integral damping that decreases hunting. The valve is specifically for balancing the inflow and outflow needed into the reservoir and maintaining level at the entitled maximum.
The valve closes drip-tight at the highest level and adjusts to keep up the tank level. The float pilot is remotely introduced at the large level in the reservoir tank. Pilot connections with the principle valve are connected in the field. Development of the principle stem changes the span of the end restriction, intruding on the propensity of the valve to hunt.
