F4 is an integrated LED signaling device engineered for tunnels safe following distrance signaling. Developed by Sirena to fulfill the increasing demand for a device specifically tailored for these growing applications. Tunnels safety is constantly increasing and both European Tunnel Managers and Regulators are more and more conscious that providing the highest standards to customers is the major part of the day-to-day business. Nowadays technology allows bringing to the market devices that can significantly change safety inside tunnels and drastically reduce incidents as well as near-incidents. T4 is developed to give drivers a rich but yet not disturbing guide light, helping visually measuring the distance from the car in front: amber lights can be placed every 5 meters, to be alternated with one blue light every 25 meters. This combination allows an immediate perception of the distance with the car in front helping tremendously in case of sudden stops and preventing incidents. T4 has a built-in back-up technology: it has been developed over two independent electronic circuits which function as back-up to one another in case of one circuit failure. Available in Amber and Blue, can be customized to any color and can be fitted with customer’s standard connectors to allow an easy retrofit of current installations.
