The AZUD WW Waste-water treatment plant to satisfy the discharge or recycled needs of urban and industrial waste-water. The plant utilizes the MBBR (Moving Bed Bio Reactor) mechanics, based on the growth of biomass in plastic supports (carriers) hanging in the bio-reactor mixed liquor. These carriers enable increase in concentration of microorganisms per unit volume than any orthodox system, nearing to high quality required in a minimum area of application.
The unit has benefits like superior waste-water treatment productivity for a small volume, ideal for organic matter bio-degradation and nutrient elimination. It is versatile with achievable amplification of the waste-water treatment capacity, increasing the percentage of carriers in the reactor, with a simple and rugged process, user-friendly operation and control. It does not need the biomass to be re-circulated to the reactor, thereby no bulking trouble and enhanced resistance to peak loads.
