Elatech S.r.l., in cooperation with SIT S.p.A and GOODYEAR Ltd., presents the EAGLE profile polyurethane belt with the new 5M pitch, ideal for any application where little-sized pulleys and compact design of the drive are required. The new EAGLE Pd™ 5M polyurethane belts allows to transform your old 5M pitch drive avoiding compromises and arrangements once required like using classic timing belts, flanged pulleys and tracking-guides. Similarly to EAGLE profile pitches 8M and 14M, the new 5M pitch express the its major features: Noiselessness High linear speed (ideal for linear system and sliding-door drivers) Precision: the continuous and progressive meshing of teeth between belt and pulley allows to avoid the traverse effect (ideal for printing, stamping and positioning machines) Self-tracking: the special helical off-set toothing design allows a perfect alignment of the belt onto the pulley avoiding the use of tracking-guides and flanges. Polyurethane compound makes the Eagle Pd 5M a clean transmission, differently from similar rubber compound belts Steel tension cords make the belt stronger and more precise than using Kevlar or polyester tension cords.
