GRP17 series compact and low profile gripper proves superior performance in a small package size. the unit offers 5mm stroke length per jaw and various encoder resolution options of 5, 1 or 0.5 micron. The low moving mass, coupled to zero backlash and low hysteresis enables high speed moves within tightly defined performance envelopes. The unit with high degree of accuracy and repeatability is specially useful for QC measuring while the handling of parts make them ideal for inline QC inspection. GRP17 series features a low profile construction (17mm x 55mm x 70mm), closed loop feedback, force and position measurement. Each jaw can be independently controlled and the low moving mass provides fast acceleration. The unit includes fully programmable force, speed and position. Its soft-land capability is ideal for handling fragile components without damage.
