Pick-and-place materials handling module LAR31 Series

The LAR31 series provided by SMAC includes linear rotary actuators with programmable torque, position and speed. They are highly reliable with price circuit board assemblies, on which more than 10,000 units can be installed. The light moving mass they are capable of handling makes them ideal solutions for fragile component handling and pick and place processes. Rotation run-out of the shaft is less than 30-micron standard, with 10-micron available. The standard encoder resolution is 5-micron with options of 1, 0.5, and 0.1. The linear and rotary have compact linear dimensions of 140x77.25x35 mm. The average life of the machines is 75-million cycles.
