SMD‑8.0DIN is a new-generation stepper motor driver, which provides few control modes and performs excellent dynamics and high torque at high working speeds. The driver is intended to control stepper motors with maximum current per phase up to 8.0 A in bipolar mode. Mounting of the driver on a standard DIN rail makes it easier to place it at the place of production.
Microstepping mode: 1, 1/2, 1/4,1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/128
The operation modes of SMD‑8.0DIN:
- Analog speed control - manual mode - it is used for smooth speed regulation without PC connection.
- Pulse position control STEP/DIR - the standard position control mode, motor speed is proportional to a STEP voltage signals frequency, displacement is proportional to a STEP signals quantity.
Additional features:
- Built-in brake resistor for operation with a high inertia load
- Possibility to connect external brake resistor
- Two phase control modes: current control (high torque and better dynamics) or voltage control (silent and very smooth motion)
- Holding current can be adjusted as 70% or 100% of full current value
- Possibility to invert a signal ENABLE
