Semi-Rigid Cable Assemblies Smiths Interconnect offers a wide array of Semi-Rigid cables in 4 standard diameters. These products (0.047", 0.086", 0.141", and 0.250") are available in copper or aluminum jackets with a number of different plating options. With so many types to choose from, we are able to provide your quick turn prototypes and your volume production needs meeting your bending configurations and performance criteria that are designed to meet your system requirements. Semi-Rigid cables are available with a copper or aluminum jacket and available with a selection of different platings and 4 different diameters (.047", .085", .141" & .250"). The Conformable® or hand formable (BJ - Braided Jacket), has a tin filled braid with a metal foil underlay and is also available in the same diameters as the Semi-Rigid type. Semi-Rigid .047 diameter Semi-Rigid cable is often used as an interconnect without connectors. The exposed center conductor and outer jacket are soldered directly to the circuits being connected.
