The triple-technology barrier APIRIS is the only one that combines a multiplexed infrared beam barrier, a high-frequency barrier and a high-frequency sensor with Doppler effect. The alarm activation principle is based on simultaneous intrusion detection by at least two of the technologies, including infrared. This system makes detection reliable and limits unwanted alarms.
Moreover, APIRIS integrates the zoning function used to optimise the use of video domes. A maximum ofthree virtual intrusion zones can be defined and configured per barrier.
IP Technology
Thanks to the Ethernet connection of the MAXIBUS UNIVERSAL hub, each APIRIS column can be configured remotely or locally via the integrated web server.
The APIRIS 3000 – 3100 columns are designed to protect sensitive sites. Its triple technology offers a high detection and dissuasion level in the field of perimeter detection.
To use the barriers correctly, it is important to ensure that the barrier is not installed on an unstable support (e.g. badly sealed pole, etc.). Before installing an infrared barrier, check that the ground is quite level and will guarantee the stability of the columns with time. A maximum of 10° elevation may be tolerated between the columns. In case of elevation above 10°, contact SORHEA’s sales department.
Check that no vegetation can block the beams, no matter the season and weather condition (wind).
It is also important to check the cleanliness of the covers: it is important to clean them with a soft and damp cloth at least once a year.
