The drum is manufactured with holes and slots, formed in a way to avoid damage to the product, while achieving a very good washing effect. The principal of washing is to have the product rubbing each other. To attain this you need a certain volume of product in the drum. The volume is easily regulated by means of a rotating or horizontal adjustable valve. A spray pipe is mounted within the drum to supply fresh or re-circulated water. Beneath the washer the water is guided through a funnel. In a special execution the washer is provided with a chain outfeed belt after the valve and the washer can handle a certain water level. Because the drum is hanging in water the product will be handled more gentle. While rotating the product will be collected in water.
