The 10 A resistance meters are used for highly accurate determination of the resistances of switchgear, fuse contacts, transformers and motor windings, cables and busbar connections. Currents from 1mA to 10A are available.
The resistance meter realises all measurements by means of 4-wire Kelvin technology, which eliminates line and contact resistances. Readings are shown on the alphanumeric display with up to 4½ digit resolution. Measurements up to 200Ω with a basic accuracy of 0.10% at a resolution of 0.1µΩ are possible.
The measuring accuracy is guaranteed by high-precision signal amplifiers that operate offset-free with long-term stability. Results can be processed on a PC via the serial port (RS232). Depending on the selected test current, the open-circuit voltage is up to 10V, which reduces the stabilisation time when measuring inductive elements (transformer windings).
The measuring circuit has protection against voltage peaks which can emanate from inductances. The micro ohmmeter is supplied complete with accessories such as robust Kelvin test clamps, connection leads and calibration certificate.
