Description

Non-Contact Current Transformer Enhance your Smart Grid A non-contact current transformer measures three-phase current at line voltages to protect power systems and to provide critical real-time information to protection relays and power system operators via SCADA. Its design utilizes line mounted sensors to measure line currents and deliver real-time point on wave current measurements. With no solid insulation to ground, the CMD II current measuring device is more reliable than freestanding current transformers, and is less costly and less space consuming.
