The TO2-19 Hybrid PPM / Percent Oxygen sensor provides high levels of accuracy, reliability and linearity throughout its measurement ranges. The oxygen sensor is based on the galvanic electrochemical fuel cell principal and is manufactured in house under a strict quality procedure. The sensors are self contained and minimal maintenance is required – no need to clean electrodes or add electrolyte. The precision sensors offer excellent performance, accuracy and stability while maximizing the expected life.
The sensor is capable of measuring oxygen from 20 parts-per-million up to 25.0%. The unique feature about this sensor is its ability to see high levels of oxygen (percent levels) and still recover to 20 PPM oxygen. This is a critical feature in 3D welding applications where the chamber is routinely opened to ambient air and also purged down as well as natural gas applications where users might have a lot of oxygen in their gas lines and routinely expose the sensors to percent levels of oxygen.
The TO2-19 uses our standard KOH electrolyte. This sensor is designed for optimal performance in inert gases such as Nitrogen, Argon, Helium, Hydrogen, etc.
Varying performance advantages to the SSO2 sensors can be attributed to minor modifications in dimensions, connections, and packaging. However, the principle of operation and the basic components remain the same.
