The Omni-Cell is comprised of a cell body and window assembly. For a complete cell both parts must be ordered individually. For demountable and mull cells spacers are also usually required. If required, a single body can be used with multiple window options for a range of different applications.
Key FeaturesO
• Modular transmission cell system The cell is built up from window sets, spacers, and the cell body/backing plates. It is designed to be disassembled for cleaning and for customisation of pathlength and window materials.
• Choice of permanently sealed or demountable window sets Demountable windows allow for flexibility of pathlength and may be disassembled to clean difficult samples. Sealed cells ensure pathlength stability and avoid leaks.
• Extensive selection of materials Our range of windows cover spectral ranges from the near-IR through to THz frequencies.
More InfoO
Omni-Cell Body The Omni-Cell body is comprised of two aluminium backing plates with a plastic insert between. Four thumbscrews are used to align and fasten these parts together. The transmission windows are sandwiched between the backing plates, sealing against a PTFE gasket on the front plate and a neoprene gasket on the back plate. The front plate is fitted with two Luer ports with PTFE stoppers. Window Options A range of different window materials are available, with different chemical compatibilities and physical properties (such as refractive index and spectral range) to suit your requirements.
