THREADED BUSH WITH DOWELS Standard heavy duty UNC/UNF series Family Threaded bushes Type of product Threaded Bush with Dowels Coating Passivation, steel Zinc-phosphating Assembly Screwing Receiving material Carbon Fibre, Cast Iron, Composites, Copper, Light Alloy, Resins Product material Stainless Steel, Steel Trade name DOWEL-INSERT DOWEL-INSERT - THREADED BUSHES WITH DOWELS DOWEL-INSERT is a metal bush with an internal and external thread, equipped with pre-assembled keys (aka dowels) on the outside with an anti-unscrewing function. It is applied on low-strength materials, where fasteners with high mechanical and vibration resistance are required, as well as being used to restore deteriorated threads. Screwed into the appropriate seat, the anti-unscrewing function is ensured thanks to the presence of keys that, once introduced on the receiving material, guarantee the strong locking of the bush. Available in steel or stainless steel material, in mini, light or reinforced versions, with standard or self-locking internal thread, metric or inch series. Among its advantages we highlight: - anti-unscrewing system ensured by keyways on the receiving seat - offers high mechanical resistance loads on soft materials - eliminates thread deterioration due to unscrewing, vibration, stresses - restores deteriorated threads - easy and quick installation, does not require special tools for installation - can be applied on different types of materials - wide choice of bush varieties and materials
