During assembly, the material of the sheet, deforming due to the pressure exerted, enters the insert’s slot, guaranteeing its fastening. Self-clinching inserts are torsion-resistant and can bear high loads. The external dimensions are reduced, thus allowing weight and space savings, with high aesthetic results.
