These balls share many of the same characteristics of our Stainless Steel AISI 302/304 range with one important exception - we add molybdenum, a silver-grey metal utilised by the military and the space industry, which improves the ball's resistance to corrosion, especially by sulphuric acid compounds. They also have a higher chromium and nickel content and very low - almost zero - magnetic properties.
Benefits
The ball's anti-corrosive qualities allow it to operate successfully in environments that are traditionally hostile to stainless steel products - for example, where inks, photographic chemicals, bleaches, dyes and nitric acids are present.
Use
You'll find these balls in food and pharmaceutical processing equipment, surgical implants, as well as in the paper pulp industry. They're probably being used at your local swimming pool.
