These balls share many of the same characteristics of our Stainless Steel AISI 302/304 range with one important exception - we add molybdenum, a silver-grey metal utilised by the military and the space industry, which improves the ball's resistance to corrosion, especially by sulphuric acid compounds. They also have a higher chromium and nickel content and very low - almost zero - magnetic properties. Benefits The ball's anti-corrosive qualities allow it to operate successfully in environments that are traditionally hostile to stainless steel products - for example, where inks, photographic chemicals, bleaches, dyes and nitric acids are present.
