The SPRECON-E-P D..4 devices provide many measuring variants and therefore optimal adaption to plant requirements. Featuring a compact design and different possible recks, the devices can be easily installed, especially when older devices such as RN1 from Sprecher Energie have to be replaced. The cost-effectiveness of the D4 devices particularly becomes apparent when they are used in simple outgoing feeders as well as for backup protection. The protection functions also contain event and disturbance data for evaluation. The D4 devices are operated via an integrated keyboard und a two-line LCD. Despite a small control panel, comprehensive settings as well as measured-value and short report indications can be easily accomplished. Measured-values are displayed in rotation. External stay-set indicators are no longer required. Great importance has been attached to complete integration of all voltage supplies regarding the transformer-supplied devices. This allows autonomous protection, which integrates both tripping voltage for the breaker and optocoupler voltage supply for the inputs.
