Single-stage compressor with aerodynamic efficiency up to 70%, 5% more efficient than 2-stage compression layout. Super-lightweight rotor design makes the rotating group more reliable and durable. Design to cost optimised. Less motor material used. Low-cost air bearing configuration. Customization available S15L fuel cell eCompressor offers a continuous shaft power of 6.5kW, expandable to 9kW, with an input voltage of 150-400VDC. We use oil-free, contactless air bearings, and reach a continuous working speed of 160,000 rpm. By implementing our unique/patented motor and system design, S15L has the highest power density level in the industry: 6kW compressor weighs<3.5kg, incl. controller. S15L eCompressor is also extremely efficient, with a total efficiency of up to 66% (controller incl.). Due to the high quality of high-speed rotor manufacturing, and a unique in-house process for rotor assembly and post-assembly precision machining, S15L can deliver optical mechanical and electrical performances and reliability.
