Distance between input and output for highest safety requirements up to 42mm. Galvanic separation and minor coupling capacitance between input and output circuit. Analog & digital signal transfer is possible. Minor output delay times compared to relays. Long life due to non mechanical wear. Magnetic fields do not impact operation.
