The Setaflash Series 3e closed cup flash point tester is a compact, bench top/portable instrument used to carry out ‘flash/no flash’ tests and determine flash point temperatures.
The Series 3e can perform tests at temperatures ranging from 0 to 300 °C (with the 13870-0 Seta Cooling Module allowing temperatures below ambient).
Operated by a touchscreen, icons guide you through the simple test procedure, with a test taking less than 2 minutes with just 2 or 4 ml of sample required. Up to 10,000 test results can be saved in the instruments internal memory which can be saved and transferred via USB port for data analysis.

Ease of use:
All functions on the Series 3 including test parameters, instrument status and test results are accessed via the touchscreen display and push button. An audible prompt sounds when a flash is achieved and an automatic flash detector enhances repeatability.
Calibration and verification:
Calibration of the Series 3 can be performed in the field, eliminating the costs and time associated with sending the instrument to a service centre.
