The top-entry robots of the XW-VI series represent the ideal solution for any handling of moulded pieces. They are available with pre-programmed operative modes; alternatively, the operator can opt for the free programming. Superior versatility The robots of the XW-VI series are particularly suitable on automation systems performing insert loading operations, IML and when the interface with other equipment in the cell is required  All the of the XW-VI robots are equipped with high-quality prismatic guide with special recirculating ball bearings; the drive to the axes is performed by brushless motors which convey the movement by means of toothed belts; these factors guarantee a precision positioning of ± 0.1mm. The lay-out of the robot has been designed in order to considerably reduce the volume taken up around the IMM; the height of the robot is likewise reduced, thanks the to the telescopic vertical arm. All these features make this robot very fast. CONTROLLER: STEC 520 A Safety above all The anti-collision detector (available with 5 levels of detecting and sensitivity) recognizes forthcoming collisions and immediately stops the robot, limiting any possible damage. Moreover, the vibration control system ensures smooth movements at high speeds and increased stability during extraction. Energy saving With our Eco mode you can save up to the 25% of power consumption, thanks the temporary stopping of the servo motor and the turning off of the pendant background light.
