Steca TR 0704 Universal Controller, used in solar energy and heating systems, has 7 input and 4 output channels, with 3 calorimeters and 1 data logger per controller output. The control system can be further expanded to house 4 more Steca TA 0403 I/O modules, each with its own microprocessor, four temperature recording inputs, and three switching outputs. Therefore, the system can accommodate a maximum of 23 inputs and 16 outputs, if required. The versatile controller, in addition to the inbuilt basic configurations, can be programmed to adapt to any requirement. A significant feature of the system is its multifunctional graphical LCD display. Apart from reporting the instantaneous values of temperature, irradiation and energy volumes, it has the ability to plot a compilation of values acquired over many days.
