As standard they are made of carbon steel coated with epoxy-polyester paint. They have been designed to protect the conduction components and especially to work with large flows.
Filtration occurs by physical retention of those particles which are larger than the filter element, which may be a stainless steel mesh held by a PVC or STAINLESS STEEL structure. The cleaning of the filter element is manual and it can be automated.
They have excellent performance due to their large filtering area and low pressure drop.
