Description
The AV series is composed of backstop clutches developed by STIEBER. They are self contained and have plain bearings on their center to attain rotational speeds. These clutches have sealings of protected metallic labyrinth seals. When delivered, the units of this series have grease lubicration to allow immediate installation horizontally or vertically.
The torque capacity of these backstop clutches is high to cater applications with space limitations. The rotational stop is provided by the bolt when it is placed into a fixed part of the machine and when it passes through the slot in the torque arm. The radial clearance of this bolt should equal to 1% of the slot width.
