Features
• - Measurement range: 2 – 800 mW/m*K (1-2000 mW/m*K on request).
• - Automatic sample thickness measurement.
• - Open design, which allows testing whole slabs without cutting off samples (sample’s width and length are unlimited).
• - Steady State Heat flow meters with a constant temperature on both sides of the specimen: temperature fluctuation less than ±0.01 °C
• - Heat flow measured with two separate heat flow sensors.
• - Precise and fast work with excellent reproducibility.
• - Perfect for production and quality control of low thermal conductivity materials.
• - User-friendly, operation requires very little training.
• - Supplied with NIST 1450e or IRMM-440 Certified Reference Material for the system calibration.
• - NI LabVIEW based software for measurement records, data analysis and storage, clear layout.
Custom-made solutions
Our heat flow meters can be adjusted to the customer’s individual needs or requirements. Typical custom-made solutions include:
• - Broader temperature range (e.g. from -15 °C to +90 °C)
• - Broader measurement range (1-2000 mW/m*K)
• - Broader contact pressure range ( e.g. 0 – 20 kPa instead of standard 1 kPa)
• - Regulation of contact pressure.
• - Additional software that enables testing thermal conductivity of samples made of soft materials at various thicknesses
• - MySQL database
• - Determining thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of flat slab experimental specimens – dimensions (L x W x H) 80 mm x 80 mm x 20 mm
