System pallet provisioning close to machines The BUFFER STATION from STOPA eliminates waiting times and enables maximum efficiency. It functions as a stand-alone tower storage with its own storage and retrieval unit (SRU), which is downstream of the storage system. It can access a PEDASTEL directly. This allows for faster picking and provisioning of SYSTEM PALLETS and EPAL CARRIERS, independent of the storage and retrieval unit. The BUFFER STATION operates completely autonomously and can present SYSTEM PALLETS and EPAL CARRIERS on a TRANSPORT CART or SCISSORS LIFT CART. With the STOPA BUFFER STATION, multiple pallet changes can also be performed in succession without the need for intervention by the storage system‘s SRU.
