The plate and frame filter HERMETIX H is an open filtration system that we designed to meet the special requirements of the chemicals industry. The HERMETIX H is available in an open and enclosed design – tailored to your requirements and perfect for your application. For special applications, it might be necessary to work with an enclosed filtration system. This is the case for volatile substances, odorants and hazardous substances. The fitting of the filter with a hood is particularly beneficial with regard to work safety and ensuring that workplace limit values are observed. The hood, which is pushed over the plate pack and hermetically seals the filter from the environment via inflatable seals, can be aerated and de-aerated during filtration; in addition, condensate is collected.
