Description

What is the Reversible Drum Storm? When work is in high gear, spills and overflows are inevitable. STREAMTEK™ Corp’s Drum Storm drum pump is the most reliable device for handling spills and overflows using just compressed air as a power source. It can be used for sopping up or transferring waste water, sludge, tramp oil, hydraulic oil, lubricant, coolant, chips, and other liquids. This system comprises no moving parts, thereby virtually eliminating the need for maintenance. How Does the Drum Storm Function? The STREAMTEK™ reversible Drum Storm can be attached to a closed-head drum (30/50 US Gallon, 205 Liter, or 45 Imperial gallon drum). Ensure that the drum pump is securely attached to the drum. Next, turn the knob of the Drum Storm counterclockwise. In less than 2 minutes, a high-powered vacuum fills up the drum. The drum and the pump are now ready to suck in a myriad of liquids. Just turn the Drum Storm’s knob clockwise and the stainless steel pump will then empty the drum in 2 minutes or less. The drum pump has been fitted with a regulator and a shut-off valve to enable users to control the flow rate of the liquid in question.
