Description

205-Litre Drum Tumbler (ATEX) DME01-Ex End-over-end drum tumblers offer an accelerated method of mixing which is often superior to horizontal mixing. With our End-over-End Drum Mixer, you can mix 200- to 220-litre steel, plastic and fibreboard drums weighing up to 300kg. Suitable for liquids, powders and pellets, our high-quality drum tumbler is designed to handle long mixing cycles. Control system The system allows for a maximum mixing speed of 11 RPM and a minimum speed of 2 RPM. The control system includes start/stop buttons as well as a mains isolator. The mixer is started at the slowest speed of 2 RPM. The operator increases the speed up to 11 RPM by twisting the variator gearbox control. When finished, the operator reduces the speed back to 2 RPM; this slow speed allows the user to stop the drum in the vertical orientation ready for unloading. This model doesn't include a mix timer or docking function like the non-ATEX version (image shows non-ATEX controls). Easy drum loading All of our STS drum lifters have been designed to easily load and unload the end-over-end drum tumbler. If you have a forklift drum attachment this can also be used providing it fits within the mixer cage. The base plate of the mixer head is 330mm from the ground and therefore it is important to ensure that any lifting equipment has sufficient lift height and is both safe and ergonomic to use.
