Stuart’s UC150 and US150 Hotplates are manufactured out of either coated aluminum silicon, or chemically-tolerant glass ceramic materials. These apparatuses feature flashing "hot" warning indicators that blink when temperature levels go beyond 50°C, integrated LED setting scales (displays temperature measurements in °C values), and compact overall designs. They also showcase microprocessor control systems. Both model configurations are generally utilized with the SCT1 Digital Temperature Controllers. When used together, the devices manage sample temperature levels as opposed to plat temperature ratings. Other features of the UC150 and US150 Hotplates include plate dimensions of 150 mm x 150 mm, weights of 2.2 kg, and integrated contact thermometer sockets.
