Description

With its seemingly limitless programmable functions, the XTS offers unequalled flexibility compared to other products on the market. The inverter/charger has a continuous power rating of 500VA (650*) up to an ambient temperature of 40°C. In addition, it has a 30 minute power rating of 700VA (900*), and can deliver 2.3kVA for up to 5 seconds! Thanks to this very high surge power capacity, it can supply without worries loads with a high start-up current. * Additional power with the ECF-01 fan module, as an option. The XTS offers a high degree of protection thanks to its IP54 housing and electronic protection against reverse polarity. The battery charge current can be adjusted between 0 and 35Adc. The factory default settings include a battery charge curve best suited for lead acid batteries with gelled electrolyte (GEL). This battery charge curve can be easily adapted to other types of batteries including OPzS, NiFe, Lithium and Redox Flow, to name but a few. The transfer system is active when an AC power source (generator, public grid, shore power…) is available at the AC input of the Xtender. The transition between inverter and transfer mode is achieved without any power cut and allows up to 16Aac of current to pass through to the loads. Similarly, the transition between transfer and inverter mode is extremely fast (max 15ms), which makes the Xtender suitable for many UPS (uninterruptable power supply) applications.
