All Sutton HSGT Taps up to 3/4 (20mm) are ground from solid HSS hardened blanks. This technique presents the hardened tap blanks with a uniform homogeneous grain structure ready for flute and thread grinding operations.
The resultant taps are tough with a ground all-over finish, producing smoothly blended flute and thread forms of precise geometry throughout their length.
Available in all thread forms including metric, metric fine, UNC, UNF, BSW, BSF, BA, BSB, G(BSPF), Rc(BSPT), Rp(BSPPL), Pg, NPT, NPTF, NPSF.
