Kevlar, scientific name of Poly-paraphenylene terephthalamide, is a brand name of an aramid fiber produced by Dupont. Kevlar works normally in temperatures ranging from -196℃ to 204℃ for long periods of time, with a shrinking percentage of 0 at 150℃, and it will not decompose or melt at temperatures as high as 560℃. Kevlar's braided sleeving features an outstanding wear, moisture, puncture, corrosion and thermal resistance. It also features a high tensile force, light weight, high strength and stable size, so that it is suitable for the protection of wires and tubes even in severe environments. Kevlar synthetic fiber braided sleeving won't be aged under 220℃ for 10 years. It has a long service life and will maintain good electrical properties under high temperatures, low temperatures and high humidity.
Application
The Kevlar synthetic fiber braided sleeving can be used in racing, aerospace, fire protection and other high-tech fields.
