The proven HELOS laser diffraction sensor together with the RODOS/L dry disperser offers a powerful technology for reliable characterization of particle size distributions in the range of 0.1 - 1,500 µm.
The RODOS high-speed disperser enriches the HELOS - with its classical diffraction arrangement in a parallel beam path - by a patented combination of dosing and dispersion. To enable gentle, complete and product-specific dispersion, compressed air is used to generate a dry aerosol which is blown through the light beam and collected in the aspiration system after analysis.
The sample is fed by the VIBRI vibratory feeder. The controlled vibratory feeding unit feeds the sample constantly and independently of the loading into the RODOS/L.
The measuring, dispersing and dosing features are controlled by the PAQXOS software, which enables the simultaneous determination of all relevant size parameters.
Advantages:
-Relevant data on particle size distributions for R&D and QC
