The Rugged Computer Compact 81 complies with protection class IP67, making this ultra-ruggedized embedded system suitable for situations in which conventional box PCs stand no chance. The IP67 computer is designed for rolling strock use, special-purpose and agricultural vehicles, construction machines as track loaders or graders. Its sophisticated mechanical design includes a hard-anodized aluminum case with a Goretex module. All components, ranging from the ApolloLake processors to the M12 plugs (LAN) to the flash drives, are designed to achieve high MBTF values in challenging conditions.
