Description

High speed milling of aluminium structural elements and rolled composite materials This is the modular range of the CL series. Thanks the flexible configuration, structural rigidity and the high removal capacity of the operating unit, CLextrema guarantees maximum outputs when milling large-sized models, moulds and structural components. Ideal for 5-axis machining of components rolled or reinforced with fibre, fibreglass or carbon fibre, structures in aluminium or composite materials, in any case complex-shaped components used in various industrial fields such as sailing, aerospace, railway, ground transport, energy. The worktop, separate from the machine structure, can be customised to specific applications: it can be configured with a monolithic table with T-slots, secured to the floor or recessed, with guide rails for large-sized workpiece-holder carriages, or with framework structures for customised equipment. The “CL extrema” Machining Centre is a milling machine 5-axis on the tool and commanded by a NC, consisting of a structure with Cartesian axes and a mobile crossbeam: Moving crossbeam sliding on guides positioned on side pillars: "Y" longitudinal axis. The carriage of the “X” transversal axis, which moves the vertical arm for the “Z” axis, slides on the beam. The axis end is the fastening element of the operating unit. Separate worktop from the machine bases The machine’s sturdy structures, standardised and made of electro-welded steel, are designed and dimensioned to maintain maximum rigidity and stability even under significant dynamic stresses posed by high movement speed.
