V-BELT TRANSVERSE SLICER Model. TTS1D
It is used for transversal slicing of particularly elongated products diameter up to 101,6mm vegetables such as leek, cucumber, carrot, eggplant, green bean, pepper, leafy etc.
A driven V-shaped conveyor belt guides the product towards the cutting wheel. The cutting wheel spins and the knives cut the product. The blades under tension act as arms and support the edge of the cutting wheel. The blades are slightly bent to create an even pitch from hub to rim. The blade serves to pull the product from the cutting wheel and produce a precise slice thickness.
The cutting size of your product is determined by the combination of:
• the type and speed of the cutting wheel;
• the number of knives on the cutting wheel;
• the speed of the conveyor belt.
• Produces a variety of flat slices or crinkle by changing of knives.
• Cutting wheel and hub with 18knives as standard without any option for slice cuttings from 4mm to 38mm thickness.
• Slice cuttings can be provided from 2mm to 50mm thickness with extra different options.
• Knives under tension serve as spokes and support the rim of the cutting wheel.
• Static hold down apparatus for light products such as green bean, okra and etc.
• All food contact points, chassis and guards construction in AISI 304 Cr-Ni st. Steel.
• Variable speed controllers for both conveyor and cutting wheel
